Define Your Perfect, Pretty, Pout!

This is a perfect treatment for people who want to add colour, definition and shape to their lips giving a more youthful, fuller look. A perfect choice for those who suffer with their lipstick bleeding into the fine lines around their mouth. Sadly, we are not all blessed with beautiful, plump lips and as we get older it is common to lose fullness and shape in the lips.

Often our natural colour fades and the vermillion border reduces, making lips appear thinner. Lucy can correct your lip line to give you a proportionate mouth. Lucy can create anything from a very natural look to something a little more dramatic. A perfect lip liner to a blush to give you that extra pout, the choice is yours.

Lip BLush

Let's Talk

A liner and blush is where the liner colour is slightly blended to give a more natural appearance and colour blended across the whole lip area. By adding a liner to your existing lip shape (fine or defined). Mixed with a lip blush that is blended across the whole lip area. Lucy will give you that perfect pout without having to use fillers. If you’re simply seeking fuller lips Lucy can cleverly blend colours to give you the appearance of a sensual pout. You no longer have to worry about lipstick bleeding in to the fine lines around your mouth. This is a perfect treatment for people who want to add colour, definition and shape to their lips giving a more youthful, fuller look.

Semi permanent lip blush is implanted into the lip starting with creating a more improved symmetrical shape and blending into the body of the lip.

Note: Lucy will discuss the most suitable options at consultation, taking into consideration your natural lip shape, skin condition and age.

We will provide you with an aftercare kit which will include an aftercare balm, applicator & aftercare instructions.

Your aftercare kit will contain enough healing balm to be used on your initial and review appointment.

You will use your healing balm as often as you need, your lips may feel dry and flaky, which is a natural part of the healing process. Use your healing balm to nourish and soothe your lips.

For the next 24 hrs following treatment:

Do not:

  • eat anything spicy
  • have very hot drinks immediately after treatment, we advise using a straw for hygiene purposes.
  • Apply cosmetics to the lip area (please allow 7 days before you apply cosmetics to the lip area –use a new lipstick)
  • pick any dry skin from the lips, you may pull some of the pigment from the lips, this will result in an uneven, patchy finish to the lips.
  • No kissing for 24 hrs, to avoid any infection

Does it hurt?

Everyone has a different pain threshold so this a very tricky question to answer, some clients have been known to fall asleep whilst having their lips tattooed, whilst others say they can feel a little sensitive towards the end of treatment.

Lucy has a range of techniques to minimise any discomfort, so there is no need to worry.

I suffer from cold sores, can I still have treatment?. This will very much depend on the severity of your cold sores, if you get the odd one, usually we can advise on treatment to take before and after, to avoid an outbreak. Lucy will discuss this with you at consultation.

I suffer with dry lips, am I suitable for treatment?

Yes, this is a perfect solution for you as it means you can apply a moisturising lip gloss and go!. We will advise you to get the lips into optimal condition before treatment for best results

I have lip filler, can I still have treatment?

Yes this is absolutely fine, sometimes we find that lip tattooing can actually define the lip shape again .If you are considering both lip fillers and tattooing for the first time we would generally recommend having the lip tattoo first.

Clients who have previously used lip fillers to add volume often discover that permanent cosmetics can achieve the pout they’ve long desired!

What is the difference between lip liner and lip blush?

A liner is applied to the existing shape of the lip to give more definition (fine or defined). A liner and blush is where the liner colour is slightly blended to give a more natural appearance and colour blended across the whole lip area.

How long will it last?

We advise a colour boost once every year to maintain the beautiful results Lucy has created for you. This will refresh the colour and give that subtle definition back to your tattoo.
