Permanent Makeup & Microblading Brow Treatment
Your eyebrows are an extremely important beauty feature – so make sure you make the most of them. Correctly shaped brows frame the eyes, making you look younger and more beautiful. Short eyebrows can be lengthened, thin or sparse eyebrows can be given more fullness and a thicker shape, asymmetrical eyebrows can be corrected and an anti–ageing lift effect can be created to improve the appearance of straight or drooping eyebrows.
Whatever the case may be permanent cosmetic eyebrow enhancement or microblading can give you natural looking eyebrows designed for your individual needs. Treatments for the brow range from filling in a scar, lengthening the tail of the brow or building up the bulb of the brow to a full eyebrow design with 3D hair strokes. A consultation with Lucy will help determine which treatment is best for you.
Permanent Lip Treatments
This is a perfect treatment for people who want to add colour, definition and shape to their lips giving a more youthful, fuller look. A perfect choice for those who suffer with their lipstick bleeding into the fine lines around their mouth.
Sadly, we are not all blessed with beautiful, plump lips and as we get older it is common to lose fullness and shape in the lips.
Often our natural colour fades and the vermillion border reduces, making lips appear thinner. Lucy can correct your lip line to give you a proportionate mouth.
Lucy can create anything from a very natural look to something a little more dramatic. A perfect lip liner to a blush to give you that extra pout, the choice is yours.
If you’re simply seeking fuller lips Lucy can cleverly blend colours to give you the appearance of a sensual pout. You no longer have to worry about lipstick bleeding in to the fine lines around your mouth.
Have you previously used lip fillers? Well you can get the same perfect pout with permanent make-up.Clients who have previously used lip fillers to add volume often discover that permanent cosmetics can achieve the pout they’ve long desired! A liner is applied to the existing shape of the lip to give more definition (fine or defined). A liner and blush is where the liner colour is slightly blended to give a more natural appearance and colour blended across the whole lip area.
By adding a liner to your existing lip shape (fine or defined). Mixed with a lip blush that is blended across the whole lip area. Lucy will give you that perfect pout without having to use fillers.
I can help you achieve more youthful, fuller looking lips, more striking, defined eyes, and perfectly shaped eyebrows.
Permanent Eyeliner Treatments
This is a perfect treatment for those who feel bare without make-up. This treatment will enhance the shape of your eyes giving definition, contour and fuller, thicker looking lashes.
For many women, applying eyeliner to create a defined look can be a tricky or time consuming task. Eyes are such an important feature and adding any type of definition through permanent make-up, will make them appear brighter, more striking and youthful. We offer three eye enhancement treatments…
Eyelash enhancement is a fine line tattooed adding beautiful definition to your eyes.
Eyeliner is a thin line tattooed between the lashes. Liquid liner is a much stronger treatment, tattooing a bolder line above the lash line.
Permanent Cosmetics is my dream career, my love and dedication for cosmetics and the beauty industry is still as strong as the day I qualified over 25 years ago.
Making my clients look and feel good on the outside as well as within is my ultimate goal – the results are truly amazing

Semi permanent makeup vs Microblading
So some of you may be wondering what the difference is between semi permanent makeup and microblading? Well wonder no more, we are here to give you some insight into these both equally fabulous treatments.
Lets start with semi permanent makeup, also known as micro-pigmentation, cosmetic tattooing and permanent makeup. This treatment is essentially a form of tattooing however differs somewhat to a “permanent”regular, artistic tattoo. You may ask why?
1. The machinery used for semi permanent cosmetic tattooing generally has a lower frequency. as we do-not want to penetrate as deep into the skin layers.
2. Cosmetic tattoo is much more superficial than a regular tattoo.
3. We use pigments not inks to project a cosmetic design. A pigment has the ability to fade out of the skin overtime.
Now we have established what semi permanent makeup is, we now need to know what the difference between semi permanent makeup and microblading ?
The two are in a sense very similar. They are both treatments that are used to provide clients with lasting cosmetic results in replacement of conventional makeup, with the added bonus of lasting substantially longer. Both treatments can provide clients with natural alternatives to lip, eye and eyebrow makeup.

How does it work?
Permanent Makeup Procedure … A step by step guide
Before any procedure can be done, it’s important to have a consultation with me so that we can discuss what’s involved and the style and shape you’re looking to achieve. I offer free no-obligation consultations.
I’ll perform a full skin tone analysis to determine what pigments to use to achieve your desired brows, taking your hair colour into consideration.
I’ll use a guide colour pencil to draw on the shape of your new brows, using measuring tools to perfect your measurements. You’ll be able to confirm that the shape and style is correct before I proceed. A topical anaesthetic is then applied to the brow area for classic machine procedures only, to minimise any discomfort.
4. The Procedure
The procedure takes between 90-120 minutes. You may feel a little scratchy sensation but this will be short lived as the anaesthetic starts to do its job. I will then check your brows for any final adjustments. After care is then applied.
Full aftercare instructions
6 Top Up
You will need to have a top up appointment to check the shape and colour of the healed brow and take care of any adjustments. This takes place only when the skin has healed: usually 4-6 weeks from the initial procedure. Enjoy your brows!
Permanent makeup does fade over time and exposure to sun and skin tone are contributing factors as to when you’ll require a colour boost. I would recommend booking a consultation with me 9 – 12 months from your completed procedure, however depending on your skin type and eternal factors such as skin care, sun exposure and general lifestyle this may vary, however e will discuss this at your consultation.

The risks are minimal, however this is an invasive procedure, therefore there are related risks involved such as allergic reaction, infection, scaring, incorrect pigment placement. As I say these risks are minimal as I adhere to all of the Health and Safety guidelines. It is extremely rare to hear of any reactions to Permanent Makeup.
Why Is A Consultation Necessary ?
This give you an opportunity to meet me and discuss your expectations regarding your procedure. We will discuss what is realistic and what can be achieved. It will give you the chance to ask any questions and to run through what to expect.

Lucy will be on hand for you from your first consultation. At some of the larger permanent makeup companies you are not guaranteed who will carry out your Permanent makeup procedure unless you pay a premium. Lucy takes pride in going through the whole journey with my clients and creating a look that they 100% satisfied with from start to finish.
How Long Does Permanent Makeup Last?
Every client is different, how long your Permanent Makeup lasts is dependent on skin type and external factors. Such as, the effects of the elements, medication, smoking and lifestyle. By ‘effects of the elements’ I mean mainly the sun, over exposure to the sun causes the skin cells to breakdown and disperse and so the pigments disperse with them. The darker colours tend to last longer than the lighter colours. I advise a colour boost every 1-2 years.
Does Permanent Makeup Hurt?
It is paramount to me that you are comfortable during the procedure. We offer a topical aesthetic before and throughout. Most clients describe it as a slight scratchy sensation that disappears as the anaesthetic starts to take effect.
How Long Is The Recovery Process?
The recovery is minimal. You can go back to your everyday life straight away. Your colour can be up to 70% darker during the first 3-4 days. You may experience light swelling on eye liner procedures as the skin is very thin in this area. Some also experience minimal swelling of the lip area. This will only last a day or two, then the crust that forms will start to flake away revealing a lighter and more natural colour. In many cases the client wishes to go darker on their top up appointment.
It is always best to air on the side of caution on the first procedure. It is easy to add more colour but not to remove it.
What If I Don’t Like The Results?
I go to great lengths to ensure that you are happy with the colour and the shape and because of this I have never had a client who is not happy with the results of their Permanent Makeup. This may not be the case with every technician however, so I am able to offer advice and corrective help for any procedures done elsewhere that have not turned out as expected.
Does It Matter If I Have Botox Or Fillers?
No it doesn’t matter if you have either of these. However I would not perform a Permanent Makeup procedure on someone who has had or is going to have either of these within 6 weeks of the botox or fillers as there is a risk of the permanent makeup being in the wrong place as a result.
Will I Still Need To Tweeze?
Yes. permanent makeup will not interfere with your hair growth.
What Ethnicities Do You Treat?
Permanent makeup is suitable for all ethnicities. I have an excellent understanding of skin tone and colour theory, so this stands me in good stead to perform permanent makeup on any skin tone.
What About Health And Safety?
The government has amended the local government (miscellaneous provisions) act 1982 by means of local government Act 2003. This gives local authorities new specific powers to regulate businesses providing semi permanent skin colouring (micropigmention, cosmetic tattooing, semi permanent makeup, permanent makeup) section 120 and schedule 6. The department of health has published guidelines about this. You can find out more on ‘Regulation of tattooing and body piercing businesses’ on your local authority web site. I adhere strictly to all of the guidelines. I only use genuine top quality pigments which are non toxic and hypo-allergenic, bought straight from the manufacturer, state-of-the-art digital machinery and disposable, single use, applicators.
I am fully insured and hold all appropriate licences.
