Intense Pulsed LightSkin Rejuvenation
Intensive Pulse Light (IPL) Skin Rejuvenation is one of the most effective treatments of turning back the hands of time in a non-invasive way. IPL is not a laser, but broad-spectrum wavelengths of light that are pulsed onto the skin. It targets blood vessels to reduce acne, redness and spider veins or melanin to get rid of various pigmentation and hyperpigmentation concerns. Its huge benefit is that it has little or zero downtime with fast results.
This also causes loose skin that begins to sag around the eyes and jawline. Our medical-grade IPL treatments are highly effective at creating a more youthful, flawless glowing appearance even without make-up. Skin is tightened whilst pore size and skin texture are also improved. For the most advanced IPL experience check out the Illumi IPL Photo treatment. This has an additional benefit as it starts with a peel to allow the IPL to penetrate deeper into the skin as it completely exfoliates the skin. All pigmentation and spider veins are also removed during the illumi IPL Photo Facial Results are seen in just one treatment but a course of 3 – 6 is recommended.
At your consultation, you will have a preliminary conversation with your practitioner and the process of the procedure explained to you. You will also be able to ask any questions you may have about the treatment. Your practitioner may also recommend you avoid certain products and activities for two weeks before your procedure.
IPL treatments can be used anywhere on the body.
There is no recovery time for IPL treatments, however the area of skin treated will be red and sensitive for a few hours. This is normal, so you may want to avoid using hot water on it until your skin heals.
