How does the treatment work?

Keravive by HydraFacial uses exclusive Hydrafacial technology that purifies, nourishes, and boosts problem areas of the scalp. The treatment purifies, stimulates and opens hair follicles with light suction and gentle exfoliating HydraFacial tip, removing excess oil and follicle-clogging debris such as dead skin cells and hair product buildup. We then nourish the scalp by Infusing cleansed hair follicles and the surrounding skin with hydration and a cocktail of rejuvenating peptides. Keravive leaves a clean, refreshed, and hydrated microbiome to support healthy, natural hair growth over time. In order to enhance and extend the peptide-rich Keravive take-home spray continues to support natural hair growth post-treatment by penetrating deep into each purified and stimulated hair follicle.

How many treatments will I need?

It is recommended that you have a course of treatments, a minimum of 3 treatments 3 weeks apart.

For best results it is recommended you come to the treatment with clean, dry hair without styling products. It is recommended that you do not use a hair dryer within an hour of receiving the treatment or applying the spray. You should wait at least 6–12 hours before washing your hair. The treatment is pain–free, gentle and relaxing. You will feel some suction on your scalp and a cooling sensation from the solutions that are administered during the treatment.

What should I expect to see following the treatment?

Whilst there is no downtime you may experience temporary redness, which typically resolves within a day or two. During your consultation we will address your suitability for the treatments and answer any questions you have

What aftercare do I get after the treatment?

Following the in clinic treatment, you will receive the HydraFacial Keravive take–home spray which includes the same growth factors and skin proteins found in the clinic solution, it helps to enhance your clinic treatment, and delivers daily hydration and nourishment to your scalp and hair follicles.

We advise you not to wash your hair for at least 4 hours, and preferably leave the spray on overnight allowing all those powerful peptides absorb at capacity. Use the Hydrafacial Keravive Peptide Take−Home Spray the day after your appointment. Spray 3−6 pumps (one at a time onto areas of concern) and massage into scalp manually or with a scalp massager.

For best results and to allow proper absorption of the peptides, do not use a hair dryer within an hour of receiving the treatment or applying the Hydrafacial Keravive Peptide Take−Home Spray. Wait 2 weeks to chemically treat your hair. Wait 2 weeks to receive any PRP treatments. Avoid extreme or repetitive tension on the hair such as tight ponytails, headbands, etc.

Your scalp and hair should dry quickly and absorb with no heavy residue about 15−20 minutes after the treatment. At this time you can resume use of styling products. After you complete your 3 visits, continue daily use of the Hydrafacial Keravive Peptide Take−Home Spray and book next series either 3−6 months depending on desired results.
